GENERAL TERMS AND CONDITIONS OF SALE

1/ Booking conditions

The reservation only becomes effective after agreement from the campsite and receipt of the deposit. Reservations are only binding on the Campsite if the campsite has accepted them, which the Campsite is free to do or refuse depending on availability and in general, any circumstance likely to hinder the execution of the reservation made.

The reservation of a campsite site or accommodation is made on a strictly personal basis. The customer may not under any circumstances sublet or transfer his reservation without the prior consent of the Campsite.

Minors must be accompanied by their parents or legal guardians.

2/ Services

Campsite site: the basic package includes the site for the tent, caravan or camper van for 1 or 2 people, access to the toilets and reception facilities.

Rental: rental accommodation is equipped, with or without sanitary facilities. The basic package is from 2 to 6 people depending on the type of accommodation offered by the Campsite.

3/ Rates and tourist tax

The prices of the stays are indicated in euros, VAT included and are valid for the season. They are indicated for one night. The customer's attention is drawn to the fact that the price does not include the tourist tax, which for 2019 amounts to 0.605 € per person over 18 years old and per night.

Booking fee: € 17 per booking, fixed and non-refundable amount.

4/ Terms of payment

A deposit of 25% of the total price of the service ordered and the booking fees must be paid at the time of booking. The balance must be paid one month before the arrival date; in the absence of full payment one month before the start of the stay, the managers reserve the right to consider that the reservation has been cancelled with the consequences provided for in the termination paragraph. The full price of the stay is payable at the time of booking in the following cases:

- for any amount less than or equal to € 50
- for any reservation made less than one month before the arrival date.

Booking fees are never refundable.

5/ Arrival

A security deposit of € 500 will be paid (by cheque or cash) on the day of arrival at the pick-up of the keys and will be returned on the day of departure after an inventory of fixtures and after confirmation that it conforms to the original condition of the premises. In the absence of conformity, a deduction will be made from the costs of restoring the premises and the value of the missing or damaged equipment. A sum of € 60 will be deducted from the security deposit if the rented accommodation has not been cleaned in accordance with the internal regulations which require the client to clean it.

6/ Delay and/or early departure

In the absence of a message from the customer stating that he/she has had to postpone the date of arrival, the pitch becomes available 24 hours after the date mentioned in the booking contract and the amount of the stay will remain the property of the campsite. Early departure or late arrival does not give rise to any refund.

7/ Termination

In case of cancellation by registered letter:

- more than 30 days before the arrival date, the customer will be charged the booking fees and the amount of the deposits, i.e. 25% of the total amount of the stay booked
- less than 30 days before the arrival date stipulated in the contract or if the client has not arrived by this date, he will be charged the administrative costs and the total amount of the stay.

In the event of a cancellation due to the wrongs and grievances of the campsite, the total amount paid by the client will be refunded, including administrative costs.

8/ Cancellation insurance

However, if desired, the customer may take out cancellation insurance for a fee. It covers only duly justified cases of force majeure.

9/ No right of withdrawal

The legal provisions relating to the right of withdrawal in the event of distance selling provided for by the Consumer Code do not apply to tourist services (Article L. 121-19 of the Consumer Code). Thus, for any order of a stay at the campsite, the customer has no right of withdrawal.

10/ Internal regulations

The customer undertakes to respect and ensure that the persons accompanying him/her respect the internal rules of the campsite, which will be brought to his/her attention by posting at the entrance and reception of the campsite or provided at his/her request.

11/ Insurance

It is mandatory that the customer has valid insurance to cover the risks of theft, fire, water damage, civil liability and third-party claims.

12/ Animals

Only one dog per rental authorized according to the current rate. Dogs (except those of the 1st category which are prohibited in the campsite), cats and other carnivores will only be accepted on a leash and after presentation of their valid vaccination booklet. They must be taken out for their hygienic walk and must not cause any noise disturbance.

13/ Payment

Payments are possible by:
- species
- bank cheques (French bank only) payable to AB2CP LA SERRE
- bank transfer by IBAN (please specify the identity declared at the time of your booking request)
- holiday cheques with their stub on the top
- card (CB, Visa, Eurocard, Mastercard)

14/ Complaints

Although the campsite makes every effort to make your stay as pleasant as possible, it will not be held responsible for any external events that may reduce or even cancel your stay. In the event of a dispute and after having referred the matter to the establishment's customer service, any customer of the campsite may refer the matter to a consumer ombudsman within a maximum period of one year from the date of the written complaint by LRAR to the operator.
